The International Journal on Artificial Intelligence and Prompt Engineering is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, and responsible scholarly communication. The journal expects all authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers to follow ethical principles based on honesty, transparency, originality, fairness, and accountability.

Duties of Authors

Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal. All sources, data, ideas, images, codes, prompts, and AI-generated materials used in the manuscript must be properly acknowledged and cited.

Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their research, including prompt design, AI outputs, evaluation results, and interpretation. Data fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, and misleading reporting are strictly prohibited.

The use of artificial intelligence tools must be disclosed when they contribute significantly to writing, coding, data processing, prompt testing, or content generation. AI tools must not be listed as authors.

Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for making fair and objective publication decisions based on the manuscript’s quality, originality, relevance, ethical compliance, and contribution to artificial intelligence and prompt engineering.

Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not use unpublished materials for personal advantage. Editors should take appropriate action when ethical issues arise, including plagiarism, data manipulation, authorship disputes, duplicate submission, or undisclosed AI use.

Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations. Reviews should focus on academic quality, clarity, originality, technical soundness, reproducibility, ethical issues, and relevance to the journal scope.

Reviewers must keep manuscripts confidential and must not use any unpublished content, prompts, datasets, or findings for personal or professional benefit. Reviewers should decline the review invitation if they have a conflict of interest.

Plagiarism and Originality

The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, or improper use of other authors’ work. Manuscripts may be screened using similarity-checking tools. Manuscripts with serious ethical violations may be rejected or retracted.

Ethical Use of Artificial Intelligence

Research involving AI systems, large language models, multimodal models, generative AI, prompt datasets, or user interaction data must follow responsible and transparent research practices. Authors must clearly explain the AI tools used, prompt procedures, evaluation process, and limitations where relevant.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any financial, institutional, professional, or personal conflicts of interest that may affect the publication process.

Corrections and Retractions

The journal may issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions when serious errors or ethical violations are found after publication. Serious violations include plagiarism, fabricated data, unreliable findings, duplicate publication, and unethical use of AI-generated content.
