Before submitting a manuscript to The International Journal on Artificial Intelligence and Prompt Engineering, authors must ensure that the manuscript meets the journal’s academic, ethical, and technical requirements. Authors are encouraged to review the following checklist carefully before completing the online submission process.

Submission Checklist

Authors must confirm that:

  1. The manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal or publication outlet.

  2. The manuscript is written in clear academic English.

  3. The manuscript is relevant to artificial intelligence, prompt engineering, generative AI, large language models, multimodal AI systems, or human–AI interaction.

  4. The manuscript follows the journal template and formatting guidelines.

  5. The title is concise, specific, and reflects the main focus of the study.

  6. The abstract clearly presents the background, objective, research approach, main findings, and contribution of the study.

  7. The manuscript includes 3–6 relevant keywords.

  8. The introduction explains the research background, gap, objective, novelty, and contribution.

  9. The literature review includes relevant theories, concepts, and previous studies.

  10. The research design and analytical procedure are clearly described.

  11. The AI model, prompt design, prompt testing process, and evaluation criteria are clearly reported where relevant.

  12. The results are presented systematically and supported by appropriate evidence.

  13. The discussion interprets the findings and relates them to previous studies, theories, and practical implications.

  14. The conclusion summarizes the main findings, contribution, limitations, and future research directions.

  15. All tables, figures, charts, prompts, and model output examples are numbered, titled, and cited in the text.

  16. All citations and references follow APA 7th edition style.

  17. Every in-text citation appears in the reference list, and every reference in the list is cited in the manuscript.

  18. The manuscript has been checked for grammar, spelling, clarity, and consistency.

  19. The manuscript has been checked for plagiarism or excessive similarity.

  20. Ethical approval, informed consent, and data protection statements are included where applicable.

  21. The use of artificial intelligence tools is disclosed when relevant.

  22. Funding sources and conflicts of interest are clearly stated.

  23. All authors have approved the final version of the manuscript and agreed to its submission.

Required Files

Authors should prepare the following files before submission:

  1. Manuscript file in Microsoft Word format.

  2. Title page containing author names, affiliations, email addresses, and ORCID IDs where available.

  3. Main manuscript file prepared according to the journal template.

  4. Supplementary files, datasets, prompt examples, AI output samples, instruments, or appendices where necessary.

  5. Ethical approval document where required.

  6. Permission letters for copyrighted figures, tables, datasets, images, prompts, or other third-party materials where applicable.

Author Information

Authors must provide complete and accurate information, including full name, institutional affiliation, email address, and ORCID ID where available. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all listed authors have contributed appropriately, approved the final manuscript, and agreed to the submission.

Prompt and AI System Information

For manuscripts involving prompt engineering or AI system evaluation, authors should ensure that the manuscript clearly states the AI system used, model version where available, prompt structure, prompt testing procedure, evaluation metrics, datasets or input materials, and limitations. This information is important to support transparency, reproducibility, and academic accountability.

Ethical Confirmation

Authors must confirm that the research has been conducted responsibly and ethically. Studies involving human participants, user interaction data, digital communication records, AI-generated content, prompt datasets, or automated decision-making systems must follow ethical standards related to privacy, consent, confidentiality, transparency, and responsible data use.

AI tools must not be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, validity, and ethical integrity of the submitted manuscript.

Final Check Before Submission

Before uploading the manuscript, authors should carefully review the file to ensure that the content is complete, the formatting is consistent, the references are accurate, and all required statements are included. Manuscripts that do not follow the journal’s requirements may be returned to the authors for correction before entering the review process.
